This is the final Afrofuturism Arts and Lecture event. The general public is invited to join our Afrofuturism class for a guest lecture by Maurice Walker on Black Comics, Writers, Artists, and Characters. Walker is the University of Virginia's Program Coordinator for the Virginia-North Carolina Alliance for Minority Participation. A lifelong comic and graphic novel enthusiast, Walker co-hosts the Geek Confidential podcast.
