Depending on the discipline of the course for which you are writing, you will use one of several citation methods.
You may be required to use citation methods, such as APA (for courses in the social sciences such as psychology, sociology, economics, and education), MLA (for courses in the humanities such as literature, creative writing, and art), Chicago (for courses in history, anthropology, and archeology), and CSE (for course in biology, chemistry, and environmental science).
The following links will help you to create a bibliography of sources for papers in each of these disciplines and will help you to format your paper and in-text citations as well.
