How Do I Find Sources?

The following links will help you to find credible, academic sources.

  • You should begin by examining this  6-step model of research writing created by Brigham Young University
  • Then you should gather background information on your topic by visiting a reference source such as  Credo Reference
  • Once you’ve narrowed your topic and formulated a specific research questions, you should use the Tusculum College Library’s Catalogue and Databases to locate books and articles
  • Finally, if your professor permits, you may search for credible internet sites (check with your professor, first, however, as some will not allow web sites in a research paper).  To help you to select credible internet sources, use the Librarians Internet Index.
